What We Use

We use new technologies that help us remain proficient in the collection of data. GIS applications and map preparation.  Our profession demands a significantly higher level of accuracy requiring dual frequency GPS base stations, RTK capable rovers, and the integration of robotic total stations.  We offer aerial photogrammetry and video using our own fleet of drones.

Who We Are

Hill Land Surveying is a small firm with big capabilities due to our state-of-the-art GPS technology. We have been performing all types of land surveying services in Alabama and Tennessee since 1987. Our knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines enables us to identify, understand, and assist clients in all aspects of development and land surveying.

Where We Started

Owner William T. (Bill) Hill, Jr., is a second generation land surveyor. In addition to his Professional Land Surveying license, and his Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, Bill also holds an Alabama Builder's License. Learn more about Team HLS here.
